Pink Crocodile is a playful and striking minimalist artwork in which simplicity and character come together. The green crocodile is constructed from bold geometric shapes and stands out against a soft pink background. The contrast between these two colors creates a visually powerful image that feels both energetic and calm.

The simple visual language is reminiscent of childlike drawings and primitive symbols, while the clean composition gives the work a contemporary yet timeless appearance. As with much of Bart Hamelink’s work, its strength lies not in the details, but in what is deliberately left out. This allows viewers to form their own interpretation and personal connection with the artwork.
